Quality Assessment
and Control:
All training courses
and programmes are subject to a quality assurance procedure. Main
objective of this procedure is to ensure that training measures
executed generate the expected results and that the means are of
the required quality. Controlled quality assurance is normally be
required in the following fields:

Developed training
modules,
-
Training facilities needed
(state-of-the- art infrastructure),
-
Training materials to be developed and
handed out to participants,
-
Performance of the
trainers,
-
Execution of training measures under
consideration of modern didactic methods,
-
Quality assurance monitoring (during and
after the training),
-
Trainees “suggestion
box”,
-
Documentation of the training
process.
The Quality Assurance
will be required to ensure that the tasks listed are organised and
executed in a professional fashion. Appropriate guidelines and
formats are prepared for the customer or adapted from the DISC
toolbox.

Definitions:
Assessment - the evaluation process used to
measure the performance or effectiveness of a system and its
elements.
Quality Control (QC) - the overall system of
technical activities that measures the attributes and performance
of a process, item, or service against defined standards to verify
that they meet the stated requirements established by the customer;
operational techniques and activities that are used to fulfil
requirements for quality.
Quality System - a structured and documented
management system describing the policies, objectives, principles,
organisational authority, responsibilities, accountability, and
implementation plan of an organisation for ensuring quality in its
work processes, products (items), and services. The quality system
provides the framework for planning, implementing, documenting, and
assessing work performed by the organisation and for carrying out
required QA and QC.
Quality Assurance (QA) - an integrated
system of management activities involving planning, implementation,
documentation, assessment, reporting, and quality improvement to
ensure that a process, item, or service is of the type and quality
needed and expected by the customer.
Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) - the
individual designated as the principal manager within the
organisation. The QAM should be responsible for management
procedures, as well as for planning, documenting, coordinating, and
assessing the effectiveness of the quality system applied in the
organisation.
